HOLY SHITBALLS!
When I first heard of this book, my first thoughts were "how good can this possibly be...it was wriiten by a man." As I started to read, it immediately captured my attention. It's an interview of a Master in the BDSM lifestyle...in a MAN'S POV.  I was pleasantly surprised, even before getting to know Jason Luke himself.

There have been many books that I have needed "recovery time" from. This book is no different...maybe even worse!! I finished reading this book for the first time 3 days ago, I have read it 4 more times since, hoping to get it out of my system. Yea...no such luck!

Okay okay okay...lets get to my actual review.....

 

When one thinks of BDSM, I can almost promise the first thing/person they think of is Christian Grey from the infamous Fifty Shades of Grey.

Well...

MOVE THE FUCK OVER MR. GREY...JONAH NOBLE HAS GOT THIS NOW!!!

 

 

Poor Leticia, I don't think the poor girl knew what she was in for. Doing a piece for the newspaper she is working for, she gets the honor of interviewing Jonah Noble. But getting tired of the "superficial and quite frankly immature" questions, he offers her an 'in' to the lifestyle.

 

"The door is right there, Miss Fall. You can walk out right now for all I care, or you can sit back down and we can do a proper interview."

This entire book had me feeling as if I was there watching through an interrogation window. It was so wonderfully written, I felt like I was a part of the story! The passion Jason created between Jonah and Leticia was totally swoon worthy, not to mention it had me on the edge of my seat waiting for something...ANYTHING to happen between the two of them! This is the only thing that had me wanting to kick his ass instead of dry humping it. He kept her (well...to the best of his ability) at a distance that was 'friendly' and strictly professional, that proved harder as his rule of "Do ut des" had him wanting to learn more about her which was virgin territory for him.

 

 

 

 

 

 Little does Jason realize, and many will agree, he pretty much wrote a manual on how men need to view women in general. WORD! After I read this, I was ready to chuck my iPad at my husband and order him to read it. Jason says things that everyman, even if they are the bestest's of partners, should have tattooed somewhere where they can read it on a daily basis! I shall unofficially refer to Jason as the "Woman Whisperer"!

This book had me all over the place emotionally and I'm still recovering! It had me swooning, laughing, tearing up, fanning myself and dropping my panties!

I am itching to see what Jason has in store for us next. Will he continue Jonah and Leticia's story? Will he continue to write erotica? *sigh* I guess only time with tell!
Come on, you know we are ALL hoping and praying he does!

So I've been sitting here for the last 24 hours trying to figure out where the hell to start with this one. I have ready MANY love triangles, many menage's, and ALOT of M/M erotica (my all time favorite genre)...this one takes the cake and NOTHING I say will do this book justice! When Riley warned my that this book was "darker and grittier than Collide" I was ready to go full speed ahead. I didn't realize I was going to fall so hard and deep...FOR ALL FUCKING THREE OF THEM!
Okay...lets start with Josiah...Oh Josiah! All throughout this book I wanted to reach through my iPad, hug the crap out of him, and tell him that everything will be okay. MY (yes...I said MY) beautiful orphan man with no other goal in the beginning other than to be loved and cherished. When Riley claimed in the synopsis that he was all heart...Christ, was she NOT kidding! He was so vulnerable. Vulnerable, self conscious yet kind and so selfless...he was one of those characters that you fall instantly in love with and know that it's not going to change.

He meets Mateo.

*Sigh* My bad boy, take-no-shit Mateo. *cue the tears* Their love story was heart-warming and earth shattering. Mateo...the typical bad-boy, gang member who has been "trained" his entire life for his 'place' on the streets, and knows...better yet thinks...that's where he belongs...until he meets Josiah. Both have inner demons, loss, tragedy and no love in their lives. When you start learning of the relationship Teo and Jay have, the feelings pull at something so deep in the chest, you almost don't think you'll survive just reading about it! Teo, who sees himself as someone who can't have such feelings...you start to see him open up and blossom at this. And the way he takes care of Jay...you know he would go to any distance to keep him safe. although he hasn't ever seen himself this way...Teo is the true definition of self-less. Selfless to the point where he fears for Jay in his lifestyle, feeling he deserves more than what he could ever provide him...so he lets him go...

Then he meets Tristan...

When I first started reading about Tristan, I was confused to how he was going to fit in. He's an established attorney with all of his ducks in a row. Then you learn that he as well, has a rough history with just as much angst. He has no plans on settling down, feeling no one will ever understand what he had to go through to get where he is today. Like Teo...he is pulled, almost involuntarily, to Josiah's world, and sparks FLY! You start to see Josiah grow as a man and yet still unsure about where he belongs, but knows Tristan is a permanent piece of his puzzle.

Thennnnnn Mateo comes back...

After 9 years Mateo makes a cameo. I was honestly unsure how I felt about this. I KNEW that what him and Josiah had was true love, but yet he needed and deserved Tristan...*let the greatest mind fuck begin!-grab tissues*

The title of this book was so extremely appropriate. All three of them lost, confused and utterly broken. They find solace and peace with each other. It was the perfect trifecta of loss, love and healing. This book engulfed my soul while I read it, and I was beat up and missed them like crazy when I was finished. Josiah, Mateo and Tristan are real in my mind. When a story does that...when you can see the story the author is trying to tell like a movie in your head and you live a part of the characters life...you KNOW its a winner. This book was one that had an AMAZING storyline and some crazy, sexy as hell sex scenes.

I could seriously go on and on and on about how amazing this book is...but then I would just be wasting time you could be reading it!

If you guys throught Sugar Daddy was good before...BE PREPARED! Rie has done some twerking...NOT Miley Cyrus kinda twerking...but literary twerking to this book..and let me tell you, it's about 10 times better! (Not that it was bad before. You know how much I LOVE my Boone men *wink*)

 

Poor Shay. Soooo many women I'm sure, are going to relate to her on so many levels. After having the most unforgettable and heartbreaking thing a woman can go through...Shay knows her and Palmer (the hubbs) have reached an end to their once happy marraige. No emotions. No physical contact. just...NOTHING!

I really REALLY wanted to hate Palmer, but I couldn't! The hurt didnt just happen to Shay. It happened to him too!

 

So anyway...she wanted out of her dead end marraige but needed a job.

WHAT A COWINKY-DINK! 

Mr. Rat-Bastard Reardon Boone wanted someone to 'enjoy' without all the emotional baggage. Oh my Reardon!! This man had me swooning through the entire freakin book!

I think they get a little more than they bargained for...

This book had me laughing (Shay has quite the wit about her and the southern twang in this book was very well written...I mean SHIT! I started talkin with an accent after reading it!), crying (Rie did an AMAZING job of pulling at the heart string many times!), fist pumping, gasping and panting!

He's looking to avoid another "superficial and immature" interview on the lifestyle...so he's willing to get down to the nitty gritty and give her a more serious insiders look into the world of BDSM. I mean...he even warns her:

There are SO many dynamics to this book! I was entranced from the first page...hook, line and sinker. Maybe because Jason advised us that though it doesn't make him an expert, he lives a little of the lifestyle himself?!

Okay...BUSTED...that probably MAKES the book for me! (HA!) But seriously...it made me want to throw my iPad at my husband and be like "Read mutha-fucka!" AND IT WAS ONLY THE FIRST COUPLE OF CHAPTERS!!!

It's refreshing to see some erotica thats well written, informative not to mention sexy as hell (It does the name of my Blog justice! *wink wink*) written by a man...a man that has personal experience in what he's writing!

Holy shit...where do I start?! When I started reading this, (I know, I know...it took me long enough!) the first thing I did was make a post on Facebook to Heidi and I believe I said something along the lines of "OMG Heidi...way to gut a wench in the first couple of chapters!!!". And it was just that. I couldnt see my screen and needed tissues in the worst way! This book had me hooked from the first couple of chapters!





This book describes the kind of love people dream about. During high school, Liam and Josie's relationship is the strongest it will ever be...or so they thought. After the pressures from certain people, Liam decides he needs change and leaves. When something happens, (don't hate, I'm trying to be spoiler free here people!) he comes home, because its the right thing to do and he needs to see her.

This book had me laughing, crying, swooning (Oh my Liam!) and sitting on the edge of my couch not knowing what the outcomes were going to be!

Liam Westbury has officially made it into my list of BBF's I fatasize about!

If you are looking for a book JAM PACKED with love, tragedy, fun, "WTF" moments with a small side of panty changing moments...you need to read this series! I cant wait to see what's going to happen next!

Dawn and Jo-Anna have a home run with this book. The character developement was superb and the story was gripping from the prologue! Seriously...I dare someone to come at me telling me this book wasn't kick ass!
